Sexual Misconduct Reporting Form
If an employee learns about sexual harassment, discrimination, or sexual assault involving a student or an employee, he or she should promptly notify the College's Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
All reports submitted via this form are sent to the Title IX Coordinator and the Deputy Title IX Coordinator. This information will be included in the semi-annual Clery report which is made public.
There are three federal laws that establish responsibilities for employees of colleges to report certain types of crimes and incidents, especially sexual misconduct—the Clery Act, Title VII and Title IX. The responsibilities established by these laws give rise to the term “mandated reporter" or "mandatory reporter." Franklin & Marshall College has adopted a policy that defines all faculty and professional staff as mandated reporters. In compliance with Title IX, the only confidential resources on campus are Health Services, Counseling Services and the College Chaplain.
